Pottery Barn Inspired Love Sign

Browsing through the Pottery Barn Teen site I came across this bedroom setup.

I really liked the love sign. I decided to try to make a smaller version that would be included in my Valentine vignette. So I went to Michael's and picked up the following supplies:

  • Blank Canvas
  • Wooden Letters
  • Gold Spray Paint
  • Craft Glue

I almost forgot to take a before photo of the letters. I spray-painted the letters gold. (It took 2 coats) After they were dry I lined them up on the canvas, marked their position with small dots, then used craft glue to attach them.

I think I may add a border at some point, maybe using upholstery tacks. But for now, this is going to look perfect with the rest of the Valentine-inspired pieces!!

  4. Great sign and how fun to recreate it. I have never stopped kicking myself for not buying this sign I saw two years ago at TJMaxx that read, "Always Kiss me Goodnight" Perhaps I will figure out a way to recreate that one..
