I have never considered myself creative. I am re-creative! I've gotten pretty good at taking a project or object and recreating it with my own spin.
Today is my friend, Corrie's, birthday!! I wanted to make her something special to celebrate the day. When I saw this project from At the Picket Fence I knew I wanted to try it for her.
As usual, I hit up Michael's for my materials:
Today is my friend, Corrie's, birthday!! I wanted to make her something special to celebrate the day. When I saw this project from At the Picket Fence I knew I wanted to try it for her.
As usual, I hit up Michael's for my materials:
1. Wooden Initial
2. Grosgrain Ribbon
3. Burlap Panel
4. Wrapping Paper
5. Craft Glue
I pretty much followed At the Picket Fence's steps.
I put the initial on the paper backwards and traced it. After cutting it
out, I used craft glue to glue it to the letter.
**Tip** move slowly when gluing the paper down to reduce wrinkles and bubbles.
Next, I glued the letter onto the burlap panel, centering it.
Finally, I used the ribbon to create a small accent bow.
I think she's really going to be surprised.
Such a cute project, love it :)
