Purple and Gold Homecoming

I'm heading to my hometown soon for Homecoming. My nieces will be marching in the parade and I'll be going to the football game for a mini-class reunion (I will NOT tell you how many years!!) Since I'll be seeing so many people I know,  I'm feeling the pressure to find a great outfit.

Thankfully, our colors are purple and gold (mustard) and those colors are definitely in season. I'm hoping it will be a little bit cool that night for the game so I'm opting for a long-sleeve shirt, jeans, a scarf, and booties.

    Stripes are my fav so I'd pick the first outfit! For the booties, I'd go with the second pair. There's a lot of visual interest already in the outfit, so I think the plain pair is best.

    I love purple (one of my favorite colors) and also yellow and think that they look awesome together. The looks you posted are so lovely! I really love both, but the second one is my favorite (even though I love stripes and the purple scarf is gorgeous). I love dark blue skinny jeans and the purple plaid shirt is so beautiful! I would pick the second pair of booties.

      When I was in high school we had to have shirts made with those colors. I'm so glad the colors are big this year and I had so many options to choose from. I think the second pair of booties is my favorite too. They are definitely the most versatile.
